MacPhisto: "Do you like my shoes?" [shows them off]

Crowd: "Yes!"

MacPhisto: "I know you like your pop stars to be exciting. Are we having fun tonight?"

Crowd: "Yes!"

MacPhisto: "D'you like our little Christmas tree that we hang all our beautiful lights? Our beautiful little cars? You have many of them in your city. They remind me of the good old days. Good old days before people wanted change. I don't like change. I like things to stay exactly the way they are. I have a friend here in this city, and he doesn't like change either. Shall I give him a telephone call?"

Crowd: "Yeah!"

MacPhisto: "Yes, he's a man who likes the good old days. Do you know Gyula... Thürmer? Is that his name? Gyula... Thür-mer?"

Crowd: [some whoops and whistles]

[dials]

MacPhisto: "I hate it when people want a better life. Shhh. ...Hello?"

Recorded message: [speaks Hungarian]

[answerphone beeps]

MacPhisto: [sings] "I just called to say I love you... I just called to say how much I care. I just called to say..."

MacPhisto: "...you're doing a very good job!"

Crowd: [laughter and applause]

[Ultra Violet begins]
